This area is seldom used by the AOC as hiking grounds, though it's worth a drive up to the Suwanee area to check out. We started at Settles Bridge Park (free parking with bathroom facilities), hiked to the CNRA Settles Bridge Park ($3 parking fee), and retraced our path and went in the other direction to Orrs Ferry before turning around and heading back to our cars. In all, we covered over 8 miles of trails on our meanderings today, catching some beautiful views of the Chattahoochee along the way.

We were delighted to meet a brand new AOC member, Elizabeth, and her dog, Lumpkin. (Welcome to the AOC, Elizabeth!) And it's great to have Tony back as an AOC trip leader. He's been off our trails for way too long. ~ Joyce
