We had a great time yesterday getting out of town to a really pretty area.  We saw gorgeous rhododendron lining the Amicalola creek and Wildcat creek.  This is a waterfall rich area.  We hiked up to one, but decided to not take the goat trail down to get a closer look.  Instead we hiked back down the mountain and over to a wide flat area that was once the dammed lake for a mill last century.  We got down to another pretty little spot and had lunch by another waterfall; this one in full view.  It was a great time and we hope to do it again.  This area has about six waterfalls and an extensive trail system.
