We had a pleasant hike on the yellow and orange trails at Sweetwater Creek State Park. The trails were lined with azaleas, the mountain laurel was just about to open up, and the weather couldn't have been better. Our small group of hikers were a real pleasure to spend time with on an Easter morning. We tackled the steep hill on the yellow trail then the orange trail has an long hill that got our blood pumping. Otherwise it was rolling hills with views of the forest and the creek. An interesting note, the orange trail took us to the top of the ridge were we could hear the sounds of the rapids down below. Great company paired with enjoyable trails makes for happy hikers.
