The new art exhibits that were introduced in September will be gone after this month - - so this hike was scheduled in order not to miss them! They're certainly worth seeing, especially on a beautiful fall day!
Our group of 12 (Norma, a brand new member, arrived after the group picture was taken) enjoyed each other's company, the art displays, and lunch at Krog Street Market. We ventured onto the new extension for some extra distance and additional art before a little stroll through the Old Fourth Ward. Our return route took us through Piedmont Park, always a beautiful area to see.
We got back to our cars before 3 pm, having covered over 9 miles. We all agreed that it was a wonderful way to spend the day. ~ Joyce
