Write Up:
We started our hike with a well experienced group of hikers. The A/T on this hike was very forgiving - smooth trail with small gradient climbs and lots of Shelters. We kept a short line on the way up collecting the group quickly at all stops. It was still winter in the North Carolina Mountains. MT Albert would not give us a view, but we had fun with the group of thru hikers. We shared stories, food, and jokes - it was a blast! After the fig newtons ( JEFFREY) the group scurried down the trail leaving the T. L. behind ( go figure). I had a smile on my face as the energy was flowing down the trail! If only my V.T.C.& Director could see this.....I made it to full circle 👏. We all made it back to the trailhead and was greeted with Trail Angels to finish. I would like to welcome Pablo to the club who did a great hike.
