Write Up:
Started out with some decent temps, got a little cooler as we climbed. This event had some good hikers. The line was stretched a little, but not too far. Left a spotter on The Chattahoochee Gap Junction while others took off To Brasstown Bald. We all collected for lunch with the Fig Newtons ( thanks Jeff). This was the first... I got chased by a Ruffled Grouse ! We had a nice rain shower towards the end that cooled us off. Michael P is the official Tick magnet over12 and still counting. Kody was a great trail mascot! (Well trained). Lots of teamwork on the trail, this was a good old fashioned kick ass hike. Finished with a little tailgating and some laughs. Dilly, Dilly. Congratulations to Sarah for getting her well earned first solid D-6!
