Write Up:
What a fun weekend.  Our group started the day off at the OAC where we met the staff, grabbed our gear, boarded the mini-bus and departed.  Once at the launch site, the OAC pointed out boar footprints.

Weather was near perfect, aside from a wind that was a bit strong at times.  On the water we witnessed many forms of wild life.  Blue Herron, Egritt (sp?), and a beaver!  The lunches were plentiful and with several cookies!  We paddled many parts of the lake and up small streams.

The kayaks OAC uses have rudders, and this helps in the open water.  Being 14', they are manueverable in tight situations.

Upon leaving, we saw a spotted hawk and a yellow finch.  All of us enjoyed a day on the lake.

After checking in at Big Frog, we hit a pizza joint and returned to camp.  The fire was nice, since temps were out of character for July - the low was 55 that night.  The facilities were awesome and the staff at BF was superb.
