I haven't hiked at Leita Thompson for many months, so it was really great to see the trails there again. It's one of the best places to do a social hike because the paths are wide (allowing for pairing and even trippling up as we hike) and easy on the feet. Our initial group picture under the blossoming red buds laid the groundwork for an excellent hike. 

Following the hike, 10 of us gathered for lunch at Panera Bread . . . always a place for good food and friendly conversation.

We welcomed three ladies to our group of veterans - - Marty, Barbara, and Gayle. We hope to see more of them all on our in-town hikes. ~ Joyce
