Our group of eleven Sunday hikers enjoyed a beautiful morning.  The weather could not have been better!  The sky was sunny and bright, the Chattahoochee full of life, and the trails weren't crowded at all.  

We enjoyed a leisurely pace through the woods along the river, stopping occasionally to take pictures.  Will post them soon!  There were plenty of Canadian geese basking in the sunlight up and down the river.  A few flowers here and there attracted beautiful butterflies.

We made our way to the other end of the area and looped around a couple of times before heading towards a nice pond.  There were dragonflies flitting to and fro as we paused for a "group photo" although someone had to take the picture.  : ) 

There were several fish swimming around the dock, much to the delight of a couple and their son who planned to catch one or two.  By the time we circled the pond and made our way back towards the dock, the boy exclaimed he had caught a fish.  Our group clapped and cheered for him as he reeled in his catch.  Think we made his day.

Everyone enjoyed socializing along the trail and the nice weather.  This was a great start to the day!
