Yes Folks, we are open for business! Today's specials .... a Blue Bird sky with plenty of fresh air!!! I was sooo excited for my first event since early March I couldn't sleep. The night before, I dusted off my hiking boots and shined off my TL Badge. We had a good turnout for Saturday - after the briefing and intro's, we headed North. Our hike turned off Brumby and we took the Goat Trail up in the direction of the Mountain Saddle. Once we made our ascent just before the main trail, we stopped for a panoramic view of the City. This was probably the best view I've ever seen of Atlanta! The hike was slow and steady ( no rush )! As we topped Little K the group stopped for the Western views... you can view Lost Mountain, and The North Georgia Mountains. We finished up the hike with the South loop and plenty of stops. Did you know if you take Noses Creek on a slow pace you can see fish? This is some good stuff out there and I am eager to get back out in the woods. Please join me!
