For the 3rd Park & Play adventure our fun group had a great day at Chastain Park.  This place is a lot larger than many people realize and it is home to several interesting sights.  There are many tall trees that grace the grounds of Chastain.  The full foliage of still green leaves displayed shady spots along the grassy campus.  A beautiful, cloudless blue sky provided the perfect backdrop for our hike.  We enjoyed a brisk hike around the entirety of the park while taking in the fresh, cool air of fall.

After our hike was completed, many of us continued on to the arts festival activities.  There were many cool crafts and arts to peruse along the decorated paths.  Hand-made jewelry, pottery, woodworks, paintings, and photography were displayed within crisp white tents that lined the sidewalks.  There were arts and crafts everywhere.  Even the portable restrooms were adorned with artistic designs.

It was truly a beautiful day for a hike and an arts festival.
