Write Up:
With potential rain in the forecast, the eight of us were a bit unsure about the day, but it held off, and the only water that we experienced was a very heavy misting from the second waterfall. The sound of the powerful water flowing through the gorge was with us on most of hike, even high on the rim. We kept a moderate to brisk pace to keep warm, as the temperature was probably in the mid 30's, the sun was shining (somewhere) but not breaking through the clouds where we were. It was a fun day expanding friendships while hiking beautiful terrain.
