Perfect day for a hike on Jarrad Gap, AT, Freeman, Slaughter Creek Trails.  we hike just a bit over 10 miles.  elevation gain almost 2200 feet.  Lots of people on the trails, beautiful views.  It's been about 3 years since my last visit - seemed today much longer than last visit.  Thanks to the 8 hikers that joined me on the trails. Welcomed two new hikers (to my hikes) Laura and Ana.  Mountain Laurel was in blood, lots of wild azaleas, a few Rhodedenrom in bloom and lots of wildflowers.  Weather was perfect.  Check out the photo album provided by Joyce T.
