SIMPLY AWESOME: Croatia was a huge hit.  Fantastic food, good weather, good people, amazing views and the boat exceeded expectations.  AOC spent a week on the Adriatic Sea slaloming between the Croatian Islands.  Our boat the "EOS" was very comfortable.  Our guides Mate and Robert were great as was the rest of the staff that made our voyage so enjoyable.

AOCers arrived in Split, Croatia from many different directions.  Most of us enjoyed a day trip to the UNESCO site of Plitvice Lakes.  A series of stunning waterfalls in a lush setting.  The cruise started on June 3rd.  We stopped at the Islands of Solta, Vis, Korcula, Hvar and Brac.  Each stop provided a wonderful hike, time to swim in crystal clear waters and dinning in a quaint centuries old seaside villages.  The cruise also included stops at the mainland towns of Makarska and Omis.

We really had a great group. That group included other travelers from Canada, England, Scotland and Australia.  The "others" fit in well and I know new friendships were made.

We learned that Andrey is a really strong swimmer & that Antoinette has superior skills as an onshore activity planner.  AB offered us morning yoga.  Belinda led the way on hikes and Lisa M. kept us in line when the guides were trying to talk over us. I cannot think of anything that could be improved upon.  Maybe more swim time.

Lisa and I wish to thank everyone for being social, pleasant and flexible when necessary.  Did I mention the food was fantastic.  Even the gas station had an amazing buffet.  Hvala to all who made the trip so memorable.
