Write Up:A deliciously cool fall morning and delectable autumn colors greeted us at the top of Amicalola Falls as we set off for a delightful tramp through the Chattahoochee National Forest.  We passed a small group of happy boys and good-humored adult leaders camping and hiking.  Resting after a hard 7.5 mile hike up to Springer Mountain, we were greeted by a happy throng of seniors who took the bus!  We passed a nice variety of wildlife including bounding white tail deer, pesky yellowjackets, screeching hawks, and a jovial band of AOC Renegades. All in all, an excellent day outdoors.
