Write Up:
We had perfect weather for our event! We started by heading to Appalachian Outfitters near Dahlonega and kayaking down a section of the Chestatee River. Along the way we saw turtles, a goat, some birds, and one snake! After exploring the river and being shuttled back to the outfitter, we changed clothes and headed to the main square in Dahlonega for the 13th Annual Bear on the Square Bluegrass Festival! After lunch and a stop at the fudge shop(!), we wandered around the square where there were many small gatherings of people playing bluegrass music. It was a great time!

Thanks to all who joined us and made the First Annual Kayaking and Bluegrass event so much fun!
