We had an action-packed day hitting six north GA waterfalls.   We began with Toccoa Falls and it was a first visit for all of us....very impressive and beautiful and couldn't figure out why we hadn't been it out before.   Then the main event at Panther Creek Falls...that is a popular spot and we sure didn't have it to ourselves but enjoyed the company and more of a party atmosphere...the water felt incredibly good on a hot day.

Our timing was good because as we got back to our cars, the skies darkened a big summer thunderstorm hit...lots of lightning but it passed over us as we drove to the Minnehaha Falls trailhead and by the time we arrive, it was finished and safe to be back on the trail.  We had fun there climbing all over the falls.  Four of us made it to the very top...took a good bit of scrambling.  Armin did it without even getting his feet wet while Angela just went straight up the falls for the most part.  Dan did a combination of the two.

We were tired but with two more waterfalls nearby, we had to make visits to them.  We checked out the always pretty Bad Branch and snapped a few pics and then went to the "Explorer" portion of the event with Crow Creek Falls.  None of us had been there before...it was not easy but not that difficult to find, and worth the extra effort and time.  We visited Upper Crow Creek Falls first and then the Lower one (which you can actually see from the road as well)...but both were fun and we took the opportunity to get our feet wet one last time before heading home to end an adventurous, but still relaxing day.
