The All Trails Write up said the James E. Edmonds trail at Black Rock State Park was strenous and it was right!  I have definately done D5 hikes that were easier. But 7 persistent souls completed the 8.6 miles 2100 ft D4. Our hard work was rewarded with lovely views, spots of remaining fall colors and an really nice group of people. Happy Trails!
