Write Up:
A lively group of 11 started off from Warwoman Dell on a cloudy, cold morning.  The chances of rain were small and seeing a glimpse of a sunset were not ruled out.  Unfortunately Rabun County weather decided otherwise.  14 intense and wet miles later found us on a windy view of the inside of a cloud.  A few of us wrapping up the group got to enjoy a picturesque walk through dark, glistening rhododendron groves, playing with our breaths in the flashlight beams, and bouncing our lights off small rushing waterfalls.  Lesson learned: if Rabun County has a 30-40% chance of showers, expect a full day of steady rain in the forests.
