What a perfect day for a ride!  The forest looked like a freshly painted canvas full of vibrant colors.  Our horses were well behaved and for the most part, knew exactly every turn to take and when to trot and canter.

Other than one horse getting stung by a wasp on the narrowest trail of our ride (appropriately named "Knee Breaker"), temporarily freaking out, and having their rider grabbing for the 'OH SHOOT' handle (turns out horses don't have those handles) we had a fun trip.

Lunch in Helen was quick and easy with Octoberfest in the rear view.  A couple folks snuck up the street to get an acclaimed caramel apple from a local shop before we headed to Dukes Creek Falls for our easy 2 mile hike.

The waterfalls at the end of the trail were flowing heavier than I've seen all summer and made for a spectacular way to wind down our day and stretch our legs.
