Easy Hike at Red Top Mountain 

We had a small group of hikers joined us for a chilly late fall hike in Red Top Mountain State Park.   We started the hike at the visitor center at about 8:30 as planned.  The weather was clear and cold with light breeze.  The 5.5 miles of the Homestead Trail went by very quick and as we hiked through the beautiful forest and along the lake shore.   We finished the hike at about 10:30 as the sun warmed the north Ga. landscape.  A good time was had by all (I think).
