I was fortunate to have two strong hikers join me on this last minute triple-loop hike that was the last in a series to rebuild after an injury. We hiked from Three Forks to Springer on the Benton McKaye Trail, then took the AT from Springer to Three Forks, completing a triple loop of 13 miles. We were lucky that the temperature dropped substantially and we only saw a brief light sprinkle of rain. A beautiful hike that cemented my recovery while accompanied by great friends.
