Six hikers met at War Woman Dell for the 0930 hike start. The weather was a little overcast and cool at first but the sun broke through the clouds around 11:00 a.m. Of note, a small bridge is out early in the hike (the first creek crossing) so we had to cross carefully to avoid slipping on some wet rocks. By the time we reached Pinnacle Knob, the sun was out although there was still a fair amount of mist/fog/lower cloud cover. We could, however, see the mountains! We enjoyed a 30 minute lunch break then hiked uneventfully back to our cars. It was an ideal day; some of us went to lunch at Hush Cuban Restaurant in Clayton. Everyone was in great shape for the hike!
