A perfect day for our unusual Monday morning hike . . . an out-of-towner at Pine Mt. in Cartersville. The trail turned out to be 5 miles with a little over 1,300 feet of elevation - - a little more elevation than most of our Monday hikes. However, we had a strong group of vets, and with a few water breaks and and time out at the overlook, we all enjoyed the beautiful (but sometimes rocky) trail.

After the hike eleven of us traveled a short distance to Swheat Market and Deli in Cartersville for a very enjoyable lunch together. ~ Joyce
