What a fantastic way to spend a Sunday morning! This AOC adventure, the Energizing Hike at East Palisades, included 11 adventurous hikers who covered 5 miles in just 1.5 hours. Yes, that is correct, and with a couple of hills, it wasn't a challenge for this group. This fast-paced group was awesome; every mile, we enjoyed some of the trail's most spectacular scenery.

Along the trail, we explored the famous bamboo forest, stopped at overlooks offering breathtaking views high above the Chattahoochee River, and enjoyed panoramic vistas of both the East and West Palisades. We also encountered impressive boulders, the iconic rock wall, and even spotted a family of deer enjoying the beautiful fall morning.

With colorful autumn leaves transforming the landscape and nature putting on a spectacular display, every turn offered another picture-perfect view. Thank you to everyone who joined us for an amazing hike filled with great company, adventure, and appreciation for the beauty that makes the Palisades such a special place.
