We got lucky with this one and were spared from the intense heat..forecast was for low 90s but some clouds came in and cooled everything off.  We had to sacrifice our sunset but it was well worth it with the nice cool climb up and very refreshing breeze at the top.   There were some very mood dark clouds around but never rained or thundered at all.  But we kept a pretty aggressive pace on the way up...definitely felt like a D4 on this occasion.  The "angry ants of Yonah" weren't that bad today but a couple in our group got ticks on them...so need to be on the lookout for those little buggers for the rest of the summer.   Anyway fun group and great mtn...looking forward to getting up here again before long.
