It was just 2 of us. Tommy a new Altantan, just moved here from LA (Lower Alabama). When I pulled into the Marta parknride the thermometer in my car read 47 degrees. A nice cool fall morning to spend outside. Even thought there was 1000s of bikers at the park today for a cancer ride. Tommy parked inside the park. I think he had a further walk to the beginning of the approach trail than me. We kept a fast pace working up a good sweat by Gum-pole. The sprints up Handrail hill and the last steep section really got our hearts pumping. But we didnt stay long on the top, cause the wind was blowing and it felt 10-15 degrees cooler. All-in-all it was a great workout on a awesome fall morning. And we were back home in time to fix lunch and watch some football.
