Write Up:
What a lovely trip!  18 intrepid bikers hit the Riverpark multi-use trail along the Chattanooga River for a brisk ride along the shore, over bridges and into the city to explore a bit.  For a total of 16.7 miles (depending on you method of calculating distance) the biking was smooth and easy, with only a few challenges up some switchbacks and down some grassy slopes. 
The weather remained gorgeous, bright, and warm and we picnicked or grabbed a bite, an ice cream or beer in town, some boldly rode a 1800's Carousel (yay!) and others explored the shops for a bit.
We rode back in the afternoon sun, full of smiles and laughter, we all hope to return and ride this path again, or perhaps even try kayaking!  Stay tuned!!
