Perfect ride, perfect day.... The three of us made great time and headed up the Jake section which was around 12 miles. We passed a few creeks and muddy patches. Ran into a couple of horseback riders and dismounted as required. Everyone was super nice which made it easy. Lots of climbing which wore out the energy reserves fast. Few sections were tore up from rain and horses making it steep and rocky. Stopped for a quick lunch and a rest then headed up Bull Mountain, which had the most climbing but was well worth it in the end for the long decent. Glad when we made it back to the car, muddy, hungry and pleasantly exhausted.

Tips - bring extra water, lots of water and ride most everything CCW.
