What better way to get cultural exposure and beautiful weather than to have joined us on our Urban Hike through the diverse neighborhoods such as Historic Oakland Cemetery, the King Historic District, Old Fourth Ward, and Cabbagetown.. Along our hike, not only were we exposed to the planned events of viewing Martin Luther King Jr.'s tomb, the historic Fire Station No. 6, and the art near Krog St. Tunnel, but we also happened to walk through the Sweet Auburn Music Fest, and we coincidentally were able to view the commemorative ceremony with the First Lady of Niger. All 16 participants had numerous opportunities to snap some good photos along the path, while a handful also participated in two (optional) post-event socials: refreshments at Six Feet Under and then music at the Tunes and Tombs event at the Historic Oakland Cemetery.. People and pups alike enjoyed the trip..

Thank you for sharing the day with us!
