Search and Rescue!!  Today our group helped out the Cherokee fire department in finding a young man who hurt himself on the ride.

After we successfully completed our ride around Dwelling Loop, we noticed the Fire Department pulling up with emergency equipment.  They had no way of getting their off road vehicle on the trail and quickly getting to the young man that face planted into a tree.  Our group was quick to respond by giving up our bikes to the emergency responders, and carrying emergency equipment and finding the young man.  After finding him, we all helped get him strapped in and to the emergency boat.

Everyone did a wonderful job!! And yes, the young boy that was injured looked like he will be alright long-term.
