We had a great turnout for our first ever bike ride from Noah's Ark Animal Sanctuary to High Falls Park and back.

A group of 10 die hard road bikers hit the open country roads and enjoyed almost 37 miles of open, scenic highways.  The weather was perfect...not too hot and we got in a full day of fun just in time to beat the rain!

We cruised along at about 13-15 mph, made our way to High Falls Park where we sat, rested and enjoyed the view.  After resting up, we went back the way we came to Noah's Ark, where some of us ate lunch and strolled through Noah's Ark Animal Sanctuary in Locust Grove GA.

Noah's ark cares for all types of animlals...from cats, dogs and parrots to emu's, lions, tigers and bears! it's a great place to visit (completely free) and if you need to donate some old pet food they need all the donations they can get.

We will definitely do this ride again in the future.  Until then, keep your eyes peeled on the Atlanta Outdoor Club's website for more road biking events!
