The day started out looking like rain but thankfully it held off and ended up being a beautiful day. We began our hike at Hogpen Gap and hiked 1.8 miles to Cowrock Mountain. Here we enjoyed the views and snacks before heading back to the car. We then headed 5 miles back down the road to Dukes Creek Falls for a short 2.2 mile out and back easy hike. We weren't sure what the falls would look like but there was actually a decent amount of water running through them. Overall it was a great day to be hiking.
