Trena, Eric and I enjoyed an 8 miles slow jog through beautiful trails alongside Fox Creek and on the cliffs above Sope Creek and then to Sibley Pond, where we enjoyed a short rest for water.  Then we came backa slightly different way, getting off the main trail to Sibley Pond on a route that zigged and zagged down the hills and valleys to the main Cochran Shoals trail near Columns Drive.  Even I was able to jog for probably 80% of the distance.  Once back to the Cochran Shoals trail, Eric and Trena 'raced' back to the cars, getting there well under 2 hours total.  I got back a little later after exploring for the cemetery and exploring some other new trails, coming back to the Cochran Shoals trail around where the creek bisects the midsection.  A gorgeous day of enjoying the outdoors and finding some new and scenic trails for getting to Sope Creek!
