What a great time our small group of three had at the Cochran Mill Nature Center and Trails! Divya, Windsor, and myself started by feeding the mega-sized catfish in the pond, then moved inside as Rick McCarthy (the resident naturalist) allowed us to handle a very gentle Black Rat snake and some Emperor Scorpions (they glow in the dark)! I then spent some quality time with Uncle Fester (see pics). We followed our adventures at the center with a breathtaking hike along four miles of spring-green infused trails – all while taking the time to get plenty of pics. The photo album tells it all… no rain, just great company among AOC friends!
