This was the most patient group of hikers ever! We started the day off with a late arriver (you know who you are - LOL). The group decided to wait so the late comer could join.  And, then their fearless TL promised them 8-9 miles...which turned out to be 13!!! Geepers. Through spider webs and crawling ticks. However, we were rewarded with realy cool mushrooms, turtles on the trails and even a historic ruin of a prison.  And we walked on every single inch of trails in the park. What an accomplishment!  And a beautiful day to be outside! Everyone stayed in good spirits, despite the fatigue. Thank you all for being so patient.
