Cool temperatures made today a great day to hike. We took the lollipop trail and the trail along the river as well. The highlight of our hike was a snake neatly camouflaged among leaves along the trail. My shriek was warning enough to everyone ;) That brought Michael to the resce!! A saviour, he waited patiently while the snake took its sweet time deciding which way to go. Am I glad Michael was there! We spotted a deer futher during our hike. The Chattahoochee was splendid as always. We found several ducks and a blue heron swimming in the river! We completed a little over 5 miles in under two hours. Thank you everyone for making it today.
