Write Up: The stage was set for a pretty good event. The weather was good and there was a demo day at Big Creek, which allowed us to test-ride bikes we normally cannot afford. Unfortunately the trip leader (using third person for myself out of embarrassment) did not eat properly before the trip. Two laps turned out to be the most I could handle. Both Pete and Aaron were very nice about the whole thing and decided to stay for a couple more laps after I left. It turned out that the only change to Big Creek was a connector trail to the Alpharetta Greenway trail. Not my most successful trip but still a good time. Plus I learned a very valuable lesson: eat plenty of complex carbs or at least eat something before riding!
