Curling was originally an outdoor sport...so there's your justitication for making this an Atlanta Outdoor Club event!

12 of us showed up to participate in the Atlanta Curling League's "learn to curl" night at the Marietta Ice Center.  They supply everything and teach you the basics of sweeping, the proper use of equipment, proper stance and basic shooting techniques.  

It's surprisingly awkard and difficult...nearly everyone slipped on the ice at one point or another during the night...but all in all it's fun to learn something new and different.  The event lasted 2 hours...all in all it was a fun night for everyone.
