We had good luck with the weather, despite threatening rain, and we encountered no wild boars or rattlesnakes, so we were very happy. We shared our happiness over beer and margaritas and Mexican food afterwards. A lovely group.

Hale Ridge Road has not been regraded since last fall, and the number of washed-out gullies in the curves seems to have increased. Our three SUVs had no problems dealing with them, but low-lying cars probably would have had to manoeuver very carefully. A big thanks to our drivers for bringing their big brutes and getting us there and back.
