This event was awesome.  Plenty of space to park and camp, nice folks and you get to fly like a bird!  Do not do 1,500' instead pay the extra $$ and go to 3,000' and enjoy all you can while soaring over the landscape.

Think about getting video too, many of us did.

If you do a trip report, could you please add this little bit to the  trip report?  The video at the end is a joke that we shared with the guy managing the afternoon launchees. 

Unfortunately due to unsafe, gusty winds, the members (Denise, Maria and Ron) who chose the beginning ground school, could not fly that afternoon, but got a “ wind check”  so they can come back and do it later.  We all know that “it’s not nice to fool with mother nature”:
