     We were all very pleased Chad didn’t cancel this hike due to the weather!  Though we drove through heavy rains, by the time we arrived at Unicoi there was nary a drop to be found.  Nine Happy Hikers tackled the Unicoi Gap to Tray Mountain Shelter hike with great spirits!  Along the way a couple of us spotted an interesting mushroom ;-)  We then capped off the hike with a tasty meal at Nacoochee Village Tavern and Pizzeria.
