From here, we will start on the Appalachian Trail, reaching the Standing Indian shelter at 0.9 miles. At this point, we will fill up our water bottles so before making the last 1.5 miles to Standing Indian. We will set up camp near the top, and spend the evening watching the sunset from this 5500 ft peak.
